Duke of Edinburgh Award & Welsh Baccalaureate

At Ysgol Calon Cymru, our pupils are able to participate in two programmes that help to improve their self-esteem, build confidence, gain essential skills, have fun and make new friends: the Welsh Baccalaureate (Welsh Bacc) and the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE).

We’re pleased to announce that, when the next academic year begins in September, Ysgol Calon Cymru will be offering the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award to all of our pupils who have taken part in the Bronze or Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award, either through school, scouts, guides or other organisations.
