RWAS Smallholders and Countryside Festival / Ngŵyl Tyddyn a Chefn Gwlad CAFC

Over the weekend, Ysgol Calon Cymru were out in force at the RWAS Smallholders and Countryside Festival. Year 9 Pupils ran a marketplace stall on the Ysgol Calon Cymru stand along with the outstanding projects from KS4 and KS5 D+T Coursework pieces. 

  • Miss Non Roberts competed in the Wool handling Competition gaining a well-deserved 2nd in the final

  • Mr Phill George competed in the axeman competition gaining 2nd as part of his team of 3

  • Mrs Anwen Nichollas had a successful weekend selling and promoting her Green Wellies Publishing company children's books and merchandise.

  • Mr and Mrs Hardiman taught young people valuable biking skills on a purpose build course.

  • Year 9 Enterprise products were very popular with the crowds of the festival

Dros y penwythnos, roedd Ysgol Calon Cymru draw yng Ngŵyl Tyddyn a Chefn Gwlad CAFC. Cynhaliodd disgyblion Blwyddyn 9 marchnad cynnyrch ar stondin Ysgol Calon Cymru ynghyd â’r prosiectau rhagorol o ddarnau gwaith Cwrs D+T CA4 a CA5. 

  • Bu Miss Non Roberts yn cystadlu yng nghystadleuaeth Trin Gwlân, enillodd 2il haeddiannol yn y rownd derfynol

  • Cystadlodd Mr Phill George yng nghystadleuaeth fwyell gan ddod yn 2il fel rhan o'i dîm o 3

  • Cafodd Mrs Anwen Nicholls benwythnos llwyddiannus yn gwerthu a hyrwyddo llyfrau plant a nwyddau ei chwmni Green Wellies Publishing.

  • Bu Mr a Mrs Hardiman yn dysgu sgiliau beicio gwerthfawr i bobl ifanc ar gwrs pwrpasol.

  • Roedd cynnyrch Marchnad menter Blwyddyn 9 yn boblogaidd iawn gyda thorfeydd yr ŵyl
