British National Cyclocross Championships 2020

5 YCC pupils took to Shrewsbury Sport Village last weekend for the British Cyclocross Championships. On an incredibly muddy course, where energy and momentum was easily sucked from the unwary, all five of our competing pupils managed to gain top 40 places; not bad considering this was against competitors from all four corners of the United Kingdom.

Results were:

Youths (male):  Spencer Davies 27th, Sam Ryland 37th.

U16 (female): Freya Evans 27th

U14 (male): Cian Evan 34th, Alfie Davies a magnificent 4th, losing out on the podium by less than 10 seconds.
